    On 30th January, Seenappa Layout residents took the pledge of a zero waste lifestyle. The initiative was flagged at the Green Path, and was attended by close to 100 participants.     The zero waste initiative was flagged off at Bhuvaneshwari Nagar on the 16th January, 2011. This effort was entirely driven by the residents of the area. There was a walkathon conducted on the 9th January, 2011 inviting all the residents for a cleanup drive scheduled for the 16th of February. Please find the report for the walkathon here.
